Students will learn the critical skills needed to respond to sudden cardiac arrest, choking or other medical emergencies requiring immediate action pending the arrival of emergency medical personnel. The course will cover:
- The Basics of First Aid
- Common Medical Emergencies
- Treating Injuries (Bleeding, Broken Bones, Sprains & Shock)
- Environmental Medical Emergencies
- CPR for Adult, Child & Infant in the event of cardiac arrest
Upon completion of the course, attendees will receive an American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course Completion Card that is valid for two-years.
