GSG’s 47 Hour armed guard program is unlike any other course offered in the state. It is given by a former Special Agent/Primary Firearms Instructor at the FBI/DEA Academy at Quantico, Virginia. He has personally provided instruction to literally thousands of US Federal Agents, state and local police officers, SWAT team members, specialized military units and their international counterparts. GSG’s 47 hour program is patterned after the training course given to special agents of the DEA and FBI and is, without question, the most professional firearms training program in the state. In addition, GSG is the only authorized firearms school in the region that uses a state of the art Meggitt electronic firearms simulator to assess a student’s ability to understand and apply the laws regarding the use of deadly force.  Students attending our program will learn to handle a firearms with the same proficiency as highly-trained federal agents.

He has provided instruction to literally thousands of agents of the Drug Enforcement Administration, Federal Bureau of Investigation and many other federal law enforcement agencies. He has also given tactical firearms training to thousands of state and local law enforcement officers, ESU & SWAT team members and specialized military units in the US and abroad. The level of instruction provided to those attending our armed guard program will mirror the instruction received by the nation’s elite law enforcement agencies. We are also the only school in New York State using the exact training equipment used at the FBI/DEA Academy including red-handle training weapons & the Meggitt XVT Firearms Training Simulator to teach judgment during the Use of Force section.
