Residential Fire Safety Plans

Residential Fire Safety Guide and Notice

Since 2000, every residential building in New York City (including cooperatives and condominiums) is required to prepare a residential Fire Safety Guide and Notice. It must be distributed annually to all tenants and service employees.   The guide must be revised and redistributed within 60 days of any material change in building conditions.  Records of distribution must be maintained.   Failure to comply with the law may result in fines.

Global Security Group has prepared numerous Guides and Notices for Combustible and Non-Combustible Residential Buildings. Please call (212) 285-2400 for more information.
